Matthew Schiavello is a Naarm/Melbourne born, intuitive reiki/energy practitioner who is also an abstract photographer, and known for his mixed media works and photographic projects.
Matthew’s art practice often works from a place of engaged curiosity. In his experimental work, he characteristically looks for the unique moment where skilled technique meets the more extemporized and uncontrollable aspects of the process, bringing beauty to light.
Matthew has been shortlisted in several art prizes and his works are held in private collections across Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the United States.
